Description(EN) :	<p style="text-align:center"><img alt="" src="../userfiles/images/news_20121203171820_N000063_2.jpg" /></p> <p><strong>Thainox AGM 2011: Thainox revealed 2010 operational performance, gained net profit of 643 MB increased from previous yr 2009 amounted 237 MB, dividend approved for shareholders totaled 156 MB, Meanwhile, Thainox management ensure shareholders’s confidence towards brighter future of stainless steel market which is being stood up due to the country‘s economic recovery, particular in the sectors of new infrastructure project, and continuing growth of domestic construction & real-estate.</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Prayudh Mahagitsiri, Thainox Chairman & CEO</strong>, said in the AGM 2011 that Thainox realized 10,474 MB revenue in the year 2010 from sales of cold-rolled SS, increased by 32 % compared to the year 2009, mainly was due to higher shipment volume of 19% and average selling price of 10 %., resulting to net profit gained of 643 MB, increased by 237 MB; therefore, the company has resolution to make the dividend payment amounting of 156 MB or 24 % of net profit, shall be paid to shareholders by May 12, 2011.<br /> <br /> In addition, Prayudh expressed confidence towards the trend of brighter SS market than the recession of the country’s economic and overall industry in the past couple of years. According to nickel price, a major component of stainless steel, currently becomes more stable rather than sharply fluctuated in the past few years; its price sometime went up to more than 50,000 US$ per tonne---presently, the adjusted nickel price has an average of about 25,000 US$ per tonne, resulting in Thainox efficient managing its inventory and production forecasting right to market demands.
