Description(EN) :	<p style="text-align:center"><img alt="" src="../userfiles/images/news_20121204102121_N000047_2.jpg" /></p> <p dir="ltr">The Thailand Metallurgist of the year 2008 special was awarded to Dr. Chatchai Somsiri, Director of Metallurgy Department and Thainox Research & Development Center, Thainox Stainless PCL. The award was given at the 2nd Thailand Metallurgy Conference jointly held by King Monkut Institute of Technology (Bangmod) and the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIS) recently. </p> <p dir="ltr">Dr Chatchai has been selected as a recipient for 2008 Metallurgist for his dedicated work in the field of metallurgy when he worked at Chulalongkorn University and later at Thainox Stainless PCL. His work at Thainox Stainless PCL. is to apply knowledge of metallurgy in R&D to improve and develop stainless steel fake u-boat capsule limited watches products so that the products maintain global competitiveness. He is still making contributions to local Universities and other public services.</p>

Description(TH) :	<p style="text-align:center"><img alt="" src="../userfiles/images/news_20121204102121_N000047_2.jpg" /></p> <p>ดร.ฉัตรชัย สมศิริ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายโลหวิทยาและศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาไทยน๊อคซ์ (Thainox Research & Development Center: TRDC) บริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์ สเตนเลส จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับเลือกให้เป็นนักวิจัยโลหวิทยาไทยดีเด่นแห่งปี (Best Thailand Metallurgist of the Year 2008) ในการประชุมวิชาการทางโลหวิทยาแห่งประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 2 (The 2nd Thailand Metallurgy Conference: 2 nd TMETC) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทยร่วมกับสภาอุตสาหกรรม แห่งประเทศไทย ณ โรงแรมเซ็นจูรี่ปาร์ค กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อเร็วๆนี้</p> <p>ดร.ฉัตรชัย เป็นหนึ่งในบุคคลสำคัญของวงการโลหวิทยาของประเทศไทย ซึ่งได้อุทิศตนเพื่อพัฒนาวงการวิศวกรรมโลหการตลอดจนงานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับโลหะ ต่างๆ และยังเป็นผู้บริหารศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาไทยน๊อคซ์ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการพัฒนา และวิจัยเพื่อการผลิตผลิตภัณฑ์เสนตนเลสที่มีคุณภาพสูงให้สามารถแข่งขันและ เป็นที่ยอมรับได้ในตลาดโลก นอกจากนี้ยังได้ขยายความร่วมมือศูนย์วิจัยฯ ไทยน๊อคซ์ไปสู่ความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาและการวิจัยด้านโลหะให้แก่สถาบันศึกษา หน่วยงานราชการ และอุตสาหกรรมเหล็กของประเทศไทยมาโดยตลอดกว่า 5 ปีที่ดำเนินการมา</p>
