Description(EN) :	<p>Mr. Jean-Paul THEVENIN, Managing Director, Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited, revealed that Dr. Siriwan Permpoon, a research engineer From Thainox Research and Development Center (TRDC), received the winning award for the best presentation in term of breakthrough and valuable innovation of her PhD at research regarding “Hydrophilicity of TiO2 films deposited on stainless steel via Sol-Gel techniques? The research had been conducted for PhD at Laboratoire de Theramodynamigue et de Physico-Chime metallurgique, France, and Laboratoire des Materiaux et de Genie Physigue, France.</p> <p>The research results showed that deposits from the experiments would promote degradation of contaminants appearing on the stainless steel surface. Application of the work would be valuable innovation to benefit broad spectrum of stainless steel users particularly on household ware, architectural and building, etc., in the near future.</p> <p>In addition, this contest judged from research papers among various researchers in the metallurgy arena in Thailand nationwide, at the 1st Thailand Metallurgy Conference, which was organized by Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT), Metallurgy and Materials Science Research Institute of Chulalongkorn University (MMRI), National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) and Iron and Steel Industry Club of Federation of Thai Industries recently.</p>

Description(TH) :	<p>นายฌ็อง ปอล เทเวอแน็น กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์สเตนเลส จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ดร. สิริวรรณ เพิ่มพูล นักวิจัยจากศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาของบริษัท ได้นำเสนอผลงานวิจัยนวัตกรรมเชิงคุณค่าเกี่ยวกับ “คุณสมบัติชอบน้ำของฟิล์มทิเทเนียมไดออกไซด์ที่เคลือบบนแผ่นสเตนเลสด้วยเทคนิคโซลเจล” ทำให้คราบสกปรกจากการใช้งานบนแผ่นสเตนเลสถูกชะล้างออกได้โดยง่าย คว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในการประชุมวิชาการทางโลหวิทยาครั้งแรกของประเทศ ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันเหล็กและเหล็กกล้าแห่งประเทศไทย (ISIST) สถาบันวิจัยโลหะและวัสดุจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (MMRI) ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีและวัสดุแห่งชาติ (MTEC) และกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเหล็ก สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย</p> <p>งานวิจัยดังกล่าวภายใต้ชื่อ “Hydrophilicity of Ti02 Film Deposited on Stainless Steel via Sol Gel Technique" เป็นวิทยานิพนธ์ระดับปริญญาเอกของดร.สิริวรรณ และเป็นโปรเจ็คร่วมกับศูนย์วิจัยของอาร์ซีลอร์มิททัล ผู้นำอันดับหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมเหล็กและสเตนเลสของโลก ภายใต้การสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอกจากไทยน๊อคซ์ฯ ประเทศไทยและได้ถูกนำเสนอผลงาน ให้แก่นักวิจัยและนักโลหวิทยาจากองค์กรและสถาบันต่างๆ ทั่วประเทศในการประชุมวิชาการทางโลหวิทยาครั้งแรกของประเทศไทยเมื่อต้น เดือนตุลาคมนี้ ผลวิจัยดังกล่าวนับเป็นนวัตกรรมเชิงคุณค่าต่อการประยุกต์ใช้งานที่สำคัญในอุตสาหกรรมสเตนเลสซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ใช้โดยตรง</p>
