Description(EN) :	<p><strong><em>Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited</em></strong> (ThaiNox) joins hand with <strong><em>Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Corporation</em></strong> (NSSC) and <strong><em>Siam Lotus Company Limited</em></strong> (SLC) to form a new joint-venture company named <strong>‘NS-Thainox Auto Company Limited.’</strong> The newly established company will market, trade, and distribute cold-rolled stainless steel products used in auto and motorcycle industry in Thailand, ASEAN member countries and India.</p> <p>Mr. Jean-Paul Thevenin, Managing Director of Thainox Stainless PCL - the first and largest stainless steel producer in Thailand and ASEAN, revealed that ThaiNox’s Board of Directors has recently approved the formation of a joint venture with Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Corp and Siam Lotus Co., Ltd. with the registered capital of 10 million Baht. The stakes of the three parties would be: 49% each for ThaiNox and NSSC, and 2% for SLC. The new joint-venture company is expected to be incorporated by August 2006 and start its commercial operations by year-end.</p> <p>“As the rapid expansion of auto and motorcycle manufacturing industry in Thailand and nearby regions demands a huge supply of parts and raw materials, our Board of Directors sees this situation as a great opportunity to expand ThaiNox’s business into the automotive sector. With the proven manufacturing performance of ThaiNox and our partners - NSSC and SLC - plus a clear customer base, NS-Thainox Auto is ensured of having the competitive advantage necessary to excel in the market,” said Mr. Thevenin.</p> <p><em>Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Corporation is the largest producer of stainless steel in Japan with three state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. The company sells and distributes both hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel, plus those in the form of sheets, plates, bars, and wire. </em></p> <p><em>Siam Lotus Co., Ltd., is a leading Thai company that imports and</em> <em>exports steel products - including stainless steel – and distributes them in Thailand.</em></p>

Description(TH) :	<p>26 มิถุนายน 2549 - ‘ไทยน๊อคซ์’ จับมือพันธมิตร ‘นิปปอน สตีล’ ตั้งบริษัทใหม่ ‘เอ็นเอส-ไทยน๊อคซ์ ออโต้’ รุกตลาดเหล็กไร้สนิมรีดเย็นในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และจักรยานยนต์ เตรียมบุกเจาะตลาดทั้งในประเทศ กลุ่มอาเซียน และอินเดีย มั่นใจพร้อมเปิดดำเนินการได้ภายในปีนี้ ตอกย้ำศักยภาพผู้ผลิตเหล็กไร้สนิมรีดเย็นหนึ่งเดียวในไทย</p> <p>นายฌ็อง-ปอล เทเวอแน็ง กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์ สเตนเลส จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า จากการประชุมคณะกรรมการบริษัท ครั้งที่ 6/2549 ที่ประชุมได้มีมติอนุมัติการลงนามในสัญญาร่วมทุนกับ บริษัท นิปปอน สตีล แอนด์ สุมิกิน สเตนเลส สตีล จำกัด และ บริษัท สยาม โลตัส จำกัด เพื่อจัดตั้ง บริษัทเอ็นเอส-ไทยน๊อคซ์ ออโต้ จำกัด ซึ่งจะประกอบธุรกิจด้านการทำตลาด จำหน่าย และจัดจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์เหล็กไร้สนิมรีดเย็นเพื่อใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และ จักรยานยนต์ในประเทศไทย กลุ่มประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน และประเทศอินเดีย โดยมีทุนจดทะเบียน 10 ล้านบาท สำหรับสัดส่วนการถือหุ้นแบ่งเป็นบริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์ สเตนเลส และ บริษัท นิปปอน สตีล แอนด์ สุมิกิน สเตนเลส สตีล ถือหุ้น 49% เท่ากัน และบริษัท สยาม โลตัส ถือหุ้น 2% การจัดตั้งบริษัทคาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จราวเดือนสิงหาคมและสามารถเปิดดำเนินการ ได้ในช่วงปลายปี 2549 นี้</p> <p>“คณะกรรมการได้มีมติอนุมัติการลงนามในสัญญาร่วมทุนจัดตั้งบริษัทใหม่ ครั้งนี้ เนื่องจากเล็งเห็นว่า อุตสาหกรรมการผลิตยานยนต์และจักรยานยนต์ในประเทศไทยกำลังอยู่ในช่วงขยายตัว ทำให้มีความต้องการวัตถุดิบเพื่อป้อนภาคการผลิตสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงเป็นโอกาสของบริษัท เอ็นเอส-ไทยน๊อคซ์ ออโต้ จำกัด ที่จะเข้ามาเปิดเกมรุกตลาดป้อนเหล็กไร้สนิมรีดเย็นให้กับภาคอุตสาหกรรม ประเภทนี้ เรามั่นใจว่าบริษัทมีข้อได้เปรียบคู่แข่งทั้งในด้านศักยภาพการผลิตและฐาน ลูกค้าที่ชัดเจน” นายฌ็อง-ปอล กล่าว</p> <p>อนึ่ง บริษัท นิปปอน สตีล แอนด์ สุมิกิน สเตนเลส สตีล จำกัด เป็นผู้ผลิตเหล็กไร้สนิมรายใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยมีโรงงานอยู่ 3 แห่ง ดำเนินธุรกิจผลิตและจำหน่ายเหล็กไร้สนิมรีดร้อน เหล็กไร้สนิมรีดเย็น แผ่นเหล็กไร้สนิม ตลอดจนเหล็กไร้สนิมแบบท่อนและแบบลวด สำหรับบริษัท สยาม โลตัส จำกัด เป็นบริษัทที่ดำเนินธุรกิจนำเข้า-ส่งออกผลิตภัณฑ์เหล็กและสเตนเลส รวมทั้งจัดจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ดังกล่าวในประเทศ</p>
