CSR News   Name(EN) : Name(TH) : Status : Show News Date : Thumbnail : (Size: 768px x 576px) Description(EN) : <p>Bangkok – April 4, 2005 – Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited (ThaiNox), the only producer of cold-rolled stainless steel in Thailand and the first in ASEAN, recently announced the appointment of Mr. Jean-Paul Thevenin as Managing Director, effective 17 March 2005.</p> <p>Under his new position, Mr. Thevenin will be responsible for the strategic planning and management direction to strengthen Thainox’s leading position in both domestic and international markets, increase stainless steel consumption in Thailand, and enhance Thainox’s expertise in providing high-quality stainless steel products and services that can better meet customer demands.</p> <p>After graduating in 1972 with a Ph.D. on Metallurgy from Orsay University in Paris, France, Mr. Jean-Paul Thevenin has gathered over 30 years of experience in the stainless steel industry. He took several management positions with Ugine (Today, Arcelor Group which is one of the world leaders in stainless steel industry) in France from 1972-1990. As the first Managing Director of Thainox Steel Limited, he has played a vital role in building up and running the company since 1991 – the time when the production of Stainless Steel Cold Rolling Mill started to increase significantly.</p> <p>Mr. Thevenin was appointed as Chief Executive Office of ThaiNox from 1998-2003 and later as Director of ThaiNox’s boards until today. Currently, he also has assumed the roles of President of Thai Stainless Steel Development Association (TSSDA) and President of Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce.</p> <p><em>Thainox Stainless Pcl is the only producer of cold-rolled stainless steel in Thailand and the first </em><em>in the ASEAN. The company supplies high-quality flat cold-rolled stainless steel in coils and sheets for wide ranges of applications in various industries including consumer hardware, process industries, industrial catering, chemical pharmaceutical, automotive, building & construction, transportation, etc. Established since 1991, the company currently has an annual production capacity of approximately 200,000 tons and has had a turnover of around 146,500 Million Baht in 2004.</em></p> Description(TH) : <p>กรุงเทพฯ, 4 เมษายน 2548 – บริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์ สเตนเลส จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ ‘ไทยน๊อคซ์’ ผู้ผลิตเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิมรีดเย็นรายเดียวในประเทศไทยและรายแรกในอาเซียน ได้ประกาศแต่งตั้ง มร. ฌ็อง-ปอล เทเวอแน็ง ขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการ โดยการประกาศแต่งตั้งในครั้งนี้เริ่มมีผลบังคับใช้มาตั้งแต่วันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2548</p> <p>ในฐานะกรรมการผู้จัดการ มร. เทเวอแน็ง จะมีหน้าที่ดูแลรับผิดชอบด้านการวางแผนกลยุทธ์และกำหนดแนวทางการบริหารงาน เพื่อเสริมสร้างสถานภาพความเป็นผู้นำของไทยน๊อคซ์ทั้งภายในประเทศและในตลาด ต่างประเทศให้แข็งแกร่งยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนกระตุ้นอัตราการบริโภคเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิมในประเทศ และพัฒนาความเชี่ยวชาญของไทยน๊อคซ์ในการผลิตเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิมคุณภาพสูงและนำ เสนอบริการตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น</p> <p>มร. เทเวอแน็ง สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกด้านโลหวิทยาจาก Orsay University ในกรุงปารีส ประเทศฝรั่งเศส เมื่อปี 2515 และสั่งสมประสบการณ์มายาวนานกว่า 30 ปีในธุรกิจเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิม โดยในช่วงปี 2515-2533 เขาได้ร่วมงานกับบริษัท Ugine (ปัจจุบันคือกลุ่มอาร์ซีลอร์ ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำระดับโลกของธุรกิจเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิม) ในประเทศฝรั่งเศส และได้รับความไว้วางใจให้ดำรงตำแหน่งระดับบริหารหลายตำแหน่ง ในฐานะกรรมการผู้จัดการคนแรกของบริษัท ไทยน๊อคซ์ สตีล จำกัด  มร. เทเวอแน็ง มีบทบาทสำคัญในการก่อตั้งและเติบโตของบริษัทฯ มาตั้งแต่ปี 2534  ซึ่งในช่วงนั้นการผลิตเครื่องรีดเย็นเหล็กกล้าไร้สนิมขยายตัวสูงขึ้นอย่าง เด่นชัด</p> <p>มร. เทเวอแน็ง ได้รับแต่งตั้งให้เป็นกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ของไทยน๊อคซ์ในช่วงปี 2541-2546 จากนั้นได้ก้าวขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการบริษัทจนถึงทุกวันนี้  ปัจจุบัน มร. เทเวอแน็ง ยังมีบทบาทหน้าที่เป็นนายกสมาคมพัฒนาสเตนเลสไทย (TSSDA) และประธานหอการค้าฝรั่งเศส-ไทย อีกด้วย</p>
